Auction Catalog
The printed auction catalogs this year will have your Bidder Number on the cover. Use this number when you are placing your bids. If you forget your Bidder Number, someone on the Pavilion will help retrieve it for you in the computer. You may also write your name after your number. Catalog auction items have a "MOB" (Minimum Opening Bid) posted for each one.
How does the bidding work?
The highest bidder for each seat will be awarded the seat. In case of ties, the seat will be awarded to the first person who bid at this price. Check bid sheets for minimum increases. In most cases, it is $5.00. If you are outbid and wish to rebid, cross through your earlier bid and use the next available line on the bid sheet for your new bid. If you have questions, someone will be on the Pavilion to assist you
If I am not in town on the bidding dates, can I still participate?
Yes, in either of two ways:
(1) Proxy bidding is allowed. Ask someone to represent you on the days of the bidding. Your proxy should write your bidder number and bid on the items you are interested in.
(2) You can email Bobbi Berglund or John Forsyth (see below) to find out the bidding status on an event. We will email you back by the end of the day letting you know the current bid for your item. If you wish to add/change a bid, email one of us with the details. PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR Bidder Number.
The deadline for emailed bid changes is 7:00 pm EST on Saturday, January 25.
How will I know if my bid has won?
Winning bidders will be posted on the Member Pages on the UUCGN website on Monday, January 27. You will be notified of your winning status by email on Monday, January 27. You will also receive a notice and invoice in the mail.
Payment must be received by February 10 or the seats will go to the next-in-line bidder. You may pay by check on the Pavilion on February 2 and 9.
You can also send a check to the office, UUCGN, 6340 Napa Woods Way, Naples, FL, 34116.
