2.3         We are collaborating with other groups,

               faith-based or secular, to help achieve our goals. 


2.3.1      Coordinate one Social Justice project partnered with another faith-based community.

2.3.2      Collaborate with Coalition of Immokalee Workers on a project proposal around a fund raiser

               with graphics that promote fair food on reusable shopping bags.

2.3.3      Hold a workshop or adult education series on “Honoring the Holiday Season” for interfaith families.

2.3.4      Interface with ACLU, SURJ, NAACP, Planned Parenthood, SWFL Justice4All, and other community groups

               involved with social issues.

2.3.5      Host Moral Mondays and publicize the gatherings on UUCGN’s website and Facebook page.

2.3.6      Celebrate a community Seder.

Long Term:

  • Create connections with area universities and colleges through collaborative service projects or satellites services

  • Work with FGCU permaculture students to create food forest at UUCGN and share the bounty with members and community.

  • Design an internship program with FGCU where students could receive credit for working with Social Justice subcommittees and participating in events.


SWFL Justice4All Coalition hosted a non-partisan candidate forum at UUCGN, with Congressional District 19 Democratic candidate David Holden at the microphone.  (October, 2018)
