Social Activities

Opportunities to spend time with fellow Unitarian Universalists (UUs) is important to the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Greater Naples (UUCGN) community.  Committees sponsor events throughout the year to bring members, their families and guests, and visitors together.  Some events are one-time get-togethers, some are recurring on a regular schedule. Below are some of the established regular social activities you can find on the UUCGN event calendar.

There are several ways to obtain more information on these groups/activities:

  • Circle Dinners occur on the third Friday of each month at members’ homes.  The host provides the main dish and each guest brings another course of the meal.  The deadline to sign up to participate is the Sunday before the third Friday.  Come, join our UU Circle Dinner Group.  Circle Dinners are a way for you to get to know other members and friends in our Naples UU world, in a more intimate way.  We try to meet in small groups so that there is an opportunity to talk with each other throughout the evening.  We share dinner in each other’s homes; the host prepares an entrée, and lets their guests know what to bring to compliment the entrée.  We try to keep our dinners small in number with 6, 8, or 10 guests per house, so that there is plenty of time to get to know each other. We have anywhere from 2 to 6 dinners each 3rd Friday of the month.

    • There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer for circle dinners.  You can also call Marjorie or Sal Corrallo 239.269.8802.   Note:  If you are already on our circle dinner email list, you do not need to sign up on the signup sheet in the foyer.
