How We help
In the midst of comfort and affluence, many children in our local communities rely on school-supplied meals for their nutritional needs during the week but will not be assured of healthy meals on the weekends. In response to this need in our community, volunteers from the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Greater Naples (UUCGN) work closely with school counselors to identify children who would benefit from weekend food security.
Over the past several years, our program has grown from supporting a single elementary school to supporting five schools during the school year.
