March 2019
Join the Collier NAACP and
SWFL Showing Up for Racial Justice
for an amazing opportunity in March!

THE WHITE ALLY TOOLKIT returns to SWFL after rave reviews in August. Dr. David Campt, a nationally recognized dialogue expert, has created a tool to help white people talk to other white people effectively about race. He aims to shift public opinion and dismantle racism one conversation at a time. Those of us who do this work understand that empathetic dialogue and human connection can overcome divides that have been exploited by politicians and those in power across American institutions. Do YOU have the skills to maintain calm, persuasive, empathetic dialogue with those with whom you disagree? This introductory workshop can show you how. Ongoing discussion groups with SWFL SURJ can support you in this journey.
All three venues are wheelchair accessible. Contact us with other needs. Childcare available by request only. Buy your tickets today! Sliding scale fees available. A portion of proceeds goes to Collier NAACP.
The workshops are the same content with different titles to reduce confusion - be sure to register for the time and location you want.
