Pledging & Stewardship

We invite you to help bring our mission and vision to life and celebrate our community in worship, education, and outreach.

The generous support and commitment that many have given to our Annual Pledge Campaign is inspiring. But our work doesn’t stop there…

This year all pledge amounts are made via email to There will not be a Card. Thank You for your support.

It is critically important that we also maintain and, where possible, expand our support for church operations so we can sustain the work we are already doing.

Our staff, our worship space, our outreach programs, and our continued growth as a Unitarian Universalist community depend on our financial resources, which can only come from all of us.

Why do we pledge?

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Greater Naples (UUCGN) belongs to each of us. We pledge to fund the daily operations and to ensure that the church and its resources are here for us and for others now and in the future.

What is the money used for?

Pledge and other revenue sources (rental, investment, fundraising, donations) support our staff, our facilities, our worship and music programs, our religious education program, programs for members and friends, community outreach, and connections to Unitarian Universalism. Our budget reflects our mission and our vision.

Is pledging a requirement of membership?

We expect that those who benefit from UUCGN and participate in activities will share in its financial upkeep. Some members are able to pledge more, others less, but we can all share in supporting our church.

How much should I pledge?

Plan to contribute a percentage of your annual income. The “Fair Share Giving Guidelines,” included in your Membership Package and in the brochure How Do I Pledge, suggest what you might give.

Stewardship Team members are always available to help answer any questions. Your donation is vital to nurturing UUCGN’s mission, and we ask that you pledge as generously as possible.
