Adult Enrichment COMMITTEE OVERVIEW

The Adult Enrichment Committee offers programs to provoke the mind, enrich the soul and foster community. Such programs address interests of the diverse adult age groups within our congregation and the larger community and reflect UU values.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Over the summer months, the Adult Enrichment Committee discussed upcoming programs and other initiatives.
  • We will continue organizing and supporting three- and six-month Chalice Circles, will introduce the Faith Forward program more broadly to the congregation.
  • We will introduce and, we hope, gain support for the Wonderful Wednesday initiative, and will offer a broad range of Adult Enrichment classes that support the mind/body/spirit interests of the congregation.
  • Planning is ongoing and in some instances advanced, for these programs and initiatives.
  • During the course of the year, we take field trips, have programs on aging well, have discussions about our Sources and Principles, and so much more.
